Ibiza Rhapsody: Computer Doesn’t Like Software?
I just got my ibiza Rhapsody mp3 player. Since the box says to install the software before plugging in the player, I insert the CD into my computer. It takes excruciatingly long to boot up, and when it finally does, I get a Vista popup that says “ibiza Rhapsody has stopped working, Windows will notify you when a solution is available blah blah blah”. I’ve rebooted my computer several times, and the same thing happens every time I insert the CD or attempt to start the autorun manually. Occasionally, I’ll get a strange little box appearing on my screen, which apparently has something to do with the ibiza. Screen capture: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=20fqq35&s=3
What’s going on and how to I fix and/or work out this?
I use Windows Vista Home Basic.
Please do not answer unless you at least know what the ibiza Rhapsody is. Also, I don’t want to see answers along the lines of, “omg u shouldve gotten an ipod omg!!!!!11!!!111!!!!”. Thank you.
Go to the control panel, and I don’t rembember exactly, but in the programs section, you should find something called “compatability wizard” open that and when it asks you what program find the cd drive, and double click SETUP and you should be able to set it so that your computer makes the program thinks that it is xp or some other windows os. good luck
