Does anyone have any suggestions on a device to provide ambient light behind LCD TVs to reduce eyestrain?
If your tv is on a stand, not mounted on the wall, you can buy an inexpensive, small table lamp like this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80099686
And place it behind the tv where you can’t actually see the lamp, but you get the light.
I have one and plugged it into my cable box’s rear outlet, so when I turn on the cable box, I have the light.
It works very well at reducing eye stain. Also, turning down the backlight setting on lcd tvs helps the eyes.
