The concept of music players really had a facelift with the arrival of iPods. Portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Inc. iPods have been appointed launched in October 2001. It resulted from the political platform of Apple Inc., which paved the way for the entry of iPods.

Apple iPod managed to operate as a storage you can register external massive data storage. The main and important difference between MP3 players and iPods, that simply copying audio or video files disk with a typical file management application does not allow iPod to access them. Users must use special software that was specifically designed to transfer multimedia files on the iPod, so that the files visible and legible.
